Kayf Tara colt crowned the best in show at Bangor racecourse
Breeders delighted with accolade for produce of mare gifted to them
Alan and Sybil Newell's colt out of the Slip Anchor mare was crowned overall champion during the fourth edition of the Goffs UK-sponsored Thoroughbred Breeders' Association 'Stars of Tomorrow' National Hunt Foal show at Bangor on Sunday.
The May 21 foal, whose dam won once and was Grade 2-placed, is a half-brother to Charlie Longsdon's useful performer Spirit Of Shankly.
He had earlier been crowned champion colt in the born after April 15 category and his owners were delighted with the results, having had the 16-year-old mare given to them.
