The opening race at Catterick on Tuesday, the 7f novice stakes at 2.15pm, sees Richard Fahey unleash Golconda Prince, an Arcano half-brother to the stable's Group 2-winning juvenile Ribchester.

It took the son of Iffraaj three attempts to break his maiden with a runner-up finish in the 6f Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes being followed by victory in the 6f Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes on his first start carrying the blue of Godolphin, having originally raced in the colours of David Armstrong.

The three-year-old colt started this season with a second-place in the 7f Group 3 Prix Djebel, only to be disqualified for causing interference, before finishing an excellent third in the 2,000 Guineas.
