Flying first-season sire Frankel was represented by his third stakes winner on Saturday when son Frankuus delivered a determined victory in the Listed Ascendant Stakes at Haydock.

It was a one-three in the race for the dual world champion as Cunco, his very first winner, finished a close third.

Frankel's previous stakes winners are Fair Eva in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes and Queen Kindly, who had Fair Eva in third when she scored in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes.
