First test for Frankel filly out of wondermare Zarkava
Zarkamiya holds early entries in the two French fillies' Classics
They say an ounce of breeding is worth a tonne of feeding and connections will be hoping that plays out when Zarkamiya - a daughter of dual world champion Frankel and female world champion Zarkava - lines up in the 12-runner Prix de la Lancette for unraced three-year-old fillies over a mile at Longchamp on Thursday.
Zarkava, by Zamindar, also began her racing career in a mile maiden at Longchamp - though in her case in September of her juvenile campaign. Longchamp was also the scene of her most notable triumph, when she defeated Youmzain by two lengths to win the 2008 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.

An Aga Khan homebred, Zarkamiya is the sixth of nine foals - by eight different sires - out of Zarkava, whose only runner to date is last year's Prix de Saint-Cloud winner Zarak, now standing at the Aga Khan's Haras de Bonneval.
Zarkava delivered her second Sea The Stars colt this term and will return to Dubawi.
The mare also has a two-year-old Invincible Spirit colt and a yearling Siyouni filly to come, while Zarkamiya holds early entries in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, Prix Saint-Alary and Prix de Diane.
Glad Eye could be the filly to give her most to do - the Grand Prix de Paris entry is by the now pensioned Dansili out of Glorious Sight, who was second to Golden Lilac in the 2011 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches.
