Everything for the day ahead as Bungle Inthejungle has another runner

The weather has continued to wreak havoc with racing in Britain on Tuesday but the all-weather fixture at Lingfield means that there is not a complete wash-out.

It offers first-season sire Bungle Inthejungle the opportunity to double his tally of winners when the Mick Channon-trained Jungle Inthebungle lines up in the 5f maiden for juveniles.

A homebred for Rathasker Stud, who stand Bungle Inthejungle at its County Kildare operation, Jungle Inthebungle is the third foal out of the winning Oasis Dream mare Princess Banu.

Channon handled the career of Bungle Inthejungle, training him to win the Molecomb and Cornawallis Stakes, and his West Ilsley Stables seem to be in flying form at the moment.

Another of his juveniles Izzer, a son of fellow Rathasker resident Clodovil, took out the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster earlier this month and followed up that victory with success at Bath on Good Friday. It all points to Jungle Inthebungle running a big race on debut.
