Dubawi getting a fine tune out of daughters of Singspiel
Cross has produced 21 runners, 14 winners and seven stakes winners
We might be several weeks away from the start of the official Flat season but as far as Dubawi is concerned, it's already business as usual as he sails through a productive spell in Dubai.
The Dubai Carnival regularly acts as an arena for Dubawi's progeny to shine and this year has been little different, with Benbatl and Rare Rhythm among those to bag some of the bigger prizes.
Of course, as Darley's flagship stallion it stands to reason that Dubawi heads into the event with substantial ammunition. However, it also helps that he is one of those rare turf-orientated stallions with the ability to throw elite performers on dirt, as the likes of Prince Bishop and Mubtaahij attest. As a further example, his five stakes winners this year includes Shillong, successful in the Listed Jebel Ali Sprint on dirt.
