Classic prospects emerge at Saint-Cloud for Frankel and New Approach
Frankel and New Approach both saw Classic contenders emerge at Saint-Cloud on Tuesday.
Master Of Reality is a son of the former and out of L'Ancresse, runner-up in both the Irish Oaks and Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf in 2003.
The three-year-old colt held on by a neck from Intello's son Folamour to win the Prix Caracalla colts' and geldings' maiden on his second start.
Entries to the Prix du Jockey Club and Grand Prix de Paris mark him out as one to watch.
New Approach filly Waldlied, meanwhile, is entered for both the Prix Saint-Alary and Prix de Diane - and she ran out a convincing winner of the Prix Astronomie fillies' maiden later in the day.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, all eyes will be on Ascot where three stakes races takes place - the Longines Sagaro Stakes and Merriebelle Stable Pavilion Stakes, both Group 3s, and the Listed Celebrating The Commonwealth Paradise Stakes.
