Frankel's fast start as a sire certainly has wowed figures in the bloodstock industry, who say his stock looks set to cost a lot more at the sales later this year.

With seven winners from eight runners and plenty more of his first crop to come, Philippa Cooper is one of a number of breeders whose eye has been caught by Frankel's offspring.

Cooper said: “It's been unbelievable, and as far as what they've done on the track it's ridiculous. We all know that Frankel didn't win his maiden until August so it's absolutely extraordinary to have these precocious horses.
