A big day for broodmare Hveger on Wednesday enhanced the value of her latest yearling, who has an engagement with the auctioneer at Book 1 of this year's Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
Idaho, a three-year-old Galileo colt out of Hveger, is as short as 6-4 for the St Leger after he eased to victory in the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes at York.
It was a deserved first Pattern race success for Idaho, having finished third in the Derby and second in the Irish Derby this season.
