'If they have inherited his mentality he is sure to have plenty of winners'
Our expert jury looks ahead to 2023 and also reflects on the past 12 months
What are you most looking forward to in 2023?
Bradley Wood, breeder & pinhooker There’s plenty. A busy foaling time will kick the year off before the yearlings we sold in 2022 run as two-year-olds in the spring. The Dark Angel x Holy Cat colt we sold to Clive Cox always looked very sharp and he’d probably be the one I’m most looking forward to; he’s in the right hands anyway!
Daniel and Claire Kubler, trainers Building on the success we enjoyed in 2022; the number and quality of winners were significantly up. We’ve got an amazing, dedicated team who, like us, are ambitious to keep pushing forward. We take an analytical approach, using science and data together with high standards of horsemanship, and it’s paying off for our supportive owners.
