Half-sister to Group 1 winner Wonderment added to November Breeding Sale
Kodiac filly Short Call a Worsall Grange Farm-consigned wildcard
Short Call, a winning half-sister to last month’s Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud heroine Wonderment, has been added as a wildcard entry to the Goffs November Breeding Sale.
The three-year-old daughter of Kodiac won first time out as a juvenile and achieved a peak rating of 77, while her dam, Wiwilia, won two races during her own juvenile campaign, leading to her coronation as 2011 Champion 2YO Filly in Switzerland.
Wiwilia's second foal, the Nicolas Clement trained Camelot filly Wonderment, looks a potential Classic contender for next year based on her recent Group 1 win, while her Dawn Approach yearling filly sold for €87,000 this year prior to the Criterium de Saint Cloud.
Short Call will be consigned by Worsall Grange Farm and is to be sold with a breeding certificate.
The filly will be offered as Lot 983A on Day 1 of the November Breeding Stock Sale, which takes place on November 22-23.
