Beverley's 5f maiden stakes at 5.50pm sees Acclaim The Nation bid to continue the run of recent success for his family on Saturday when making his second start for Eric Alston, having finished a one–and–a–half length runner–up at Newcastle in May.

Owned and bred by Con Harrington, the three–year–old son of Acclamation is a brother to the 6f winner and Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes runner–up Full Mandate and four–time 6f scorer Badr Al Badoor.

Out of the Indian Ridge mare Dani Ridge, who Alston trained to three victories over 6f, Acclaim The Nation is also a half–brother to last month's King's Stand Stakes hero Profitable, Listed–winning stablemate Ridge Ranger and the Group 3 runner–up Danidh Dubai, dam of the 11–time–winning sprinter and Italian Listed scorer Gamgoom.
