Gregor Baum elected new president of the German Owners and Breeders Association

Gregor Baum, chairman of the Hanoverian Rennverein and owner of Gestut Brummerhof, was unanimously elected as the new president of the German Owners and Breeders Association at its annual General Meeting on Monday.

Baum, 56, takes over from the new Honorary President Manfred Ostermann, who after 18 years has been elected unanimously to his new role. The new Vice President is Dr Ingeborg von Schuber, the owner of Ebbesloh Stud.

In his inaugural address, Baum said: "The Owners and Breeders association is thankful that Manfred Ostermann will continue to support the new board of directors as the honorary president."

The new new board of directors are Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten, Heike Bischoff-Lafrentz, Peter Gollmann, Stefan Hahne, Sascha Hartung, Rolf Harzheim, Dr. Andreas Jacobs, Friedrich von Lenthe, Jacqueline Leve, Andreas Neugeboren, Doris Schmidt, Jeanette Spratter, Jochen Stargardt, Christian Sundermann, Matthias Tamrat, Philip Baron von Ullmann and Nastasja Volz-Degel.

Delegates for the board of directors of the Racing Authorities are as follows: Gregor Baum, Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten and Nastasja Volz-Degel.
