Glittering line-up in store as Arqana reveals yearling sale catalogue
A brother of Treve is among the highlights
Siblings of such superstars as dual Arc winner Treve, globe-trotting Magic Wand and French Derby hero Sottsass have been listed among the reformatted catalogue for Arqana's yearling sale spectacular.
The Deauville Select Sale, which brings together 492 blue-blooded yearlings, will now take place in the Normandy town between September 24-26, allowing buyers travelling from around the world to take part in the three main European sales in a single stay.
The catalogue features the progeny of a total of 98 stallions from Galileo and Dubawi to first crop faces including Almanzor and Arrogate. Some 96 yearlings are out of black type winning mares, while 22 are brothers or sisters to Group 1 winners.
Among the highlights are:
• A brother by Frankel to Prix Jacques Le Marois victor and young stallion Al Wukair, from Ballylinch Stud
• A brother by Gleneagles to Poule d’Essai des Pouliches winner Dream And Do from Haras du Logis Saint Germain
• A brother by Elvstroem to the Coronation Stakes winner Watch Me, from Haras du Petit Tellier
• A sister by Siyouni to smart trio Polydream, Evaporation and Big Brothers Pride, from Ecurie des Monceaux
• A brother by Galileo to globe-trotting Group 1 winner Magic Wand, from Monceaux
• A sister by Dubawi to the exceptional Sistercharlie and Sottsass, from Monceaux
• A half-brother to triple Grade 1 winner Uni, from the first crop of Almanzor, from Haras d’Etreham
• A sister by Motivator to Treve, from Haras du Quesnay
• A daughter of Galileo out of dual Group 1 scorer Giofra, from Haras de la Perelle
