French fancies among the offerings at Keeneland December Digital Sale
Dam of Group 1 winner listed in Marbat draft
Keeneland's December Digital Sale will have a particularly Transatlantic look to it with eight lots from Sheikh Abdullah Al Maddah's Marbat LLC being offered online from France.
Along with foals and yearlings, the operation will sell two useful broodmares during Tuesday's event. Chief among them is Fancy Green, dam of the 2019 Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Mkfancy. The ten-year-old is believed to be in foal to Saxon Warrior.
Alongside her is Empire Maker mare Grey Lina, whose son Areen has been showing some spark for Pia Brandt in France and could be aimed towards the UAE Derby. She is in foal to Saxon Warrior.
Both those mares have progeny included in the Marbat draft, with one of Grey Lina's daughters, Elegant By Nature, having on offer a yearling colt by Constitution, the exciting young sire of Belmont Stakes winner Tiz The Law.

Although born in Kentucky, he too is currently located at Haras du Grand Chene in France. Elegant By Nature has a Noble Mission filly foal catalogued, while an unraced Pride Of Dubai two-year-old filly named Chocolate Coffee is also being offered.
Bidding begins at 3pm UK time on Tuesday with around 70 lots due to be sold across a range of categories including a share in the stallion Paynter.
The sale had featured a number of stallions consigned by Calumet Farm including Grey Swallow, winner of the 2004 Irish Derby as well as the Tattersalls Gold Cup, and multiple Graded scorer Musketier, but they have subsequently been withdrawn.
