Former Rathasker resident Es Que Love in move to Normandy
Well-bred son of Clodovil now standing at Haras de Saint-Eloy
Well-bred young stallion Es Que Love is continuing his stallion career at Haras de Saint-Eloy in Normandy from this season.
The ten-year-old half-brother to Hong Kong Group 1 winner Dominant and classy pair Listen In and Zhui Feng had stood alongside his sire Clodovil at Rathasker Stud for the past four years.
Besides those high-achieving siblings he has a deep pedigree as his dam Es Que is out of a half-sister to In Clover, who has produced three individual Group 1 winners – Call The Wind, We Are and With You.
Es Que Love maintained family honour by winning five starts including the Group 2 Lennox Stakes and finishing placed in another 14 races in his busy career.
His first two-year-olds graced racecourses last year and they included the dual winners Que Amoro and Love To Excel.
Es Que Love formerly stood at a fee of €5,000 but that has been lowered to €3,000 at his new base in France.
