Six horses in training - both Flat and National Hunt - have been selected to carry the blue and green silks of the Irish National Stud Racing Club this year.

Three-year-old Hot Streak filly Flaming Princess already boasts large black type having struck in Listed company over the minimum distance at Deauville last August, before finishing fourth to A'Ali in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster.

A 200,000gns purchase for the club at last year's Tattersalls December Sale, Flaming Princess happened to be foaled at the Irish National Stud and will be trained by Willie McCreery.

Divine Approach, a Dawn Approach half-sister to the three-time Melbourne Cup runner-up Red Cadeaux, broke her maiden in an 19-runner handicap at Navan by four lengths at three, and will be prepared for her subsequent jumps career by Ross O'Sullivan.

Society Rock filly Winiata will be trained for the club by Johnny Murtagh, for whom she has previously won three races from six to ten furlongs, as well as finishing third in the Listed Edmund and Josie Whelan Memorial Stakes at the Listowel Harvest festival.

John Oxx's charge Regal Eagle is a three-year-old son of the Irish National Stud's Group 1-winning sire Free Eagle out of the Spinning World mare Spinamix, making him a half-brother to six black-type runners, four of whom achieved a Racing Post Rating over 100.

Completing the line-up are two unraced juveniles, the first a son of Siyouni out of the high-class producer Nebraas, whose eight runners to date have all won, including the dual Group 3 winner Yellow Rosebud and the Listed juvenile scorer Seeham.

The youngster is currently in pre-training with Sonny Carey, as is the two-year-old Dragon Pulse filly out of Group 3 winner Penny Pepper, who will go into training with Tipperary-based Joe Murphy.

The Irish National Stud Racing Club welcomes naming suggestions for both juveniles, and also promises industry trips and workshops for members.
