British breeders back in the limelight

After British breeders were humbled on home turf when drawing a blank at last year's Cheltenham Festival, pride was restored with two winners during the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown.

Irish Champion Hurdle heroine Honeysuckle was bred by Dr Geoffrey Guy by sending First Royal, a daughter of Lando who was Listed-placed over hurdles in her native Germany, to the late six-time Group/Grade 1 winner Sulamani when he stood at Yorton Farm Stud.
