Roseman, a stakes-winning and Group 1-placed son of Kingman and new recruit to the LM Stallions roster, has his first mares in foal.

The six-year-old's first seven mares who have scanned in foal include the dams of three black-type winners and two stakes performers.

Roseman won his maiden at the second time of asking for Roger Varian and Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum before added a Listed success to his name in the Ben Marshall Stakes that November.

As a four-year-old he was a decent fourth in the Queen Anne Stakes and signed off his career with a half-length second to The Revenant in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on Champions Day in 2020.

Bred by Knocktoran Stud, Roseman sold to Varian for €650,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale, having been picked up by Mick Flanagan for 180,000gns at the Tattersalls December Foals Sale the year before when offered by his breeder.

He is the fifth foal out of the winning Pivotal mare Go Lovely Rose, a full-sister to dual Group 1-winning miler Immortal Verse, the dam of last season's Cheveley Park Stakes heroine Tenebrism.

Studmate Legends Of War, a Grade 3 winner in the United States, having been Group 2-placed in Britain for John Gosden and Qatar Racing, has had his first foals on the ground this season - which have been described as "powerhouses" - while Royal Ascot-winning juvenile Southern Hills' first crop have also been the subject of praise.

Roseman stands his first season for a fee of £5,500.
