First British or Irish winner for Born To Sea
Success for the half-brother to Galileo and Sea The Stars
Freshman sire Born To Sea was represented by a first winner in Britain or Ireland on Saturday when his daughter Sea Of Grace broke her maiden at the second attempt in a 7½f maiden at Tipperary.
Sea Of Grace is trained by John Oxx for the Tsui family's Sunderland Holding - the same team who campaigned Born To Sea to win the Listed Blenheim Stakes on his two-year-old debut and to finish second in the Irish Derby at three.
She was bred by Robert Norton out of the winning Vettori mare Lady Dettoria, a half-sister to Group 3 runner-up and Grade 1 Gulfstram Park Turf Stakes fourth Cougar Bay.
