Fee increase for Germany's top-priced sire Soldier Hollow
Son of In The Wings will stand at a €30,000 fee next year
Soldier Hollow - who was the most expensive advertised stallion in Germany this year at €25,000 - will stand for an increased fee of €30,000 for the 2019 breeding season.
The Gestut Auenquelle resident sired the first two home in this year's Deutsches Derby in Weltstar and Destino.
Destino's five-year-old brother Dschingis Secret, meanwhile, won the Group 2 Grosser Hansa-Preis at Hamburg at the start of July and last year's Group 1 Grosser Preis von Berlin. The son of Soldier Hollow has been confirmed to stand at Haras de Saint Arnoult in France next year.
Soldier Hollow, an 18-year-old son of In The Wings, had four yearlings sell for six figures at this year's BBAG September Yearling Sale, two of whom were offered by Auenquelle.
The dual winner of the Group 1 Grosser Dallmayr Preis-Bayerisches Zuchtrennen was initially retired to Gestut Rottgen, where he stood for four seasons, before his relocation to Auenquelle, where his fee has gradually risen from €6,000 to its current level.
