Group 3 winner Waitingfortheday has been added to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale as a wildcard and will be offered as a filly in training on Tuesday, December 3 as lot 1793D.

The daughter of Elzaam won the Group 3 Coolmore Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary in August, beating Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Skitter Scatter into second and earning a Racing Post Rating of 104.

Afterwards, winning jockey Donnacha O’Brien said that “she obviously has a lot of ability” and that “she's still improving”.

Waitingfortheday has won seven races for Joseph O’Brien and has officially improved 45lb from her opening handicap mark.

Owned by John Dollard, the four-year-old filly is out of the Lagunas mare Wiolante, making her a half-sister to Welria, herself a multiple Group 3 and Listed winner and producer of Listed winner Wasimah. The classic German family also extends to Waldgeist, this year’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner.

The Tattersalls December Mares Sale takes place from December 2 to 5. Catalogues are online now at www.tattersalls.com and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives.
