Entries for next Thursday's Goffs UK December Point-to-Point Sale at Yorton Farm have been released, with a number of high-class point-to-point winners and winners under rules set to go under the hammer.

The Goffs UK P2P Sales in November and December last year saw two record prices for pointers at £570,000, including Jonbon, who made a winning start over hurdles for Nicky Henderson and JP McManus at Newbury on Friday.

The auctions have produced 29 individual winners, including Saturday's Grade 2 John Francome Novices' Chase and Aintree Grade 1 winner Ahoy Senor; Grade 3 scorer My Mate Mozzie, who was a narrow second in the Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle.

Among the winning horses under rules on offer are Bold Endeavour (Lot 13), a son of Fame And Glory who is unbeaten in two starts for Laura Morgan, including over hurdles this month; Wheres Maud Gone (6), a daughter of Yeats who won an Ayr bumper before running in Listed and Graded bumpers at Aintree and Cheltenham for Morgan; Ubetya (22), by Le Fou, winner of a Uttoxeter maiden hurdle last year but not seen out yet in 2021 for the Morgan yard; and Noah's Light (3), a four-year-old son of Leading Light who won on his second start over hurdles for Declan Queally at Navan.

Stablemates Bold Endeavour, Wheres Maud Gone and Ubetya have all run under the Race Crowd banner, however Tony Barney and Robin Woodward's ownership venture appears to have run its course. It was at Yorton last year that the duo first sprang to prominence as underbidders on Jonbon and Classic Getaway, who likewise sold for £570,000.

Point entries include Champagne Town (14), a four-year-old son of Kayf Tara who won his second point at Kirkistown this month for Colin Bowe; Saint Davy (5), a Balko four-year-old who was an impressive eight-length scorer on his debut for Donnchadh Doyle at Quakerstown; Broomfield Present (10), a five-year-old son of Presenting who won his most recent point for Richard Harding at Kildorrery; and Townhill Penny (1), a consistent daughter of Kalanisi who won for Graham McKeever at Kirkistown.

Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: "Goffs P2P Sales at Yorton have enjoyed an unbelievable start and the results achieved on the track over the last 12 months from just two sales are very impressive.

"To have 29 winners already including a Grand National meeting Grade 1 winner in Ahoy Senor and horses like My Mate Mozzie, Jonbon, Classic Getaway and Bold Endeavour to name but a few demonstrate this sale is in an exciting place."

He continued: “Yorton is now an established and proven sale venue which is well known to the National Hunt world, and we are looking forward to making a return next week following numerous requests from clients after the two P2P sales we held at the venue last year."

Online bidding will be available and registrations can be made at goffsonline.com, while catalogues will be available from Yorton on Wednesday at midday.
