Eight Arqana wildcard breeze-up entries announced
Half-brother to the useful Global Spectrum could be popular
Arqana has announced eight additional wild card entries to join its two-year-old breeze-up sale between May 11 and 12.
There is no shortage of quality among the latest inclusions, notably another likely sort from Church Farm and Horse Park Stud (lot 165) in a son of Kodiac out of Group-1 placed juvenile Lady Darshaan.
The same operation sold his half-brother Global Spectrum for 130,000gns at the breeze-ups last year before he snared a valuable victory in Qatar.
The first into the ring will be Mocklershill's , a son of No Nay Never and black-type performer Sylvestris from the family of Group winner Arch Swing and Group 1 victor Pattern Step.
He is followed by son of Shamardal out of the Listed scorer Jira (100), from the family of Time Charter and consigned by Star Bloodstock, with Grove Stud offering a son of Street Sense (139) out of Group 1 placed Model, offered from Grove Stud. Grove also provides the first foal by New Approach out of the well-bred Group-placed Interesting (163).
Tally Ho Stud introduce a Super Saver half-sister to UAE Oaks winner Polar River (161), who is followed straight in by another American-bred from Gaybrook Lodge Stud (162), by Violence from the family of Group 2 winner Bay to Bay. Not long afterwards is Mocklershill's Showcasing filly who is a granddaughter of July Cup heroine Frizzante (164).
