German Group 1 winner and champion older horse Dschingis Secret will relocate to Haras de Montaigu from Haras de Saint Arnoult for the 2022 breeding season.

The son of Soldier Hollow has stood at Haras de Saint Arnoult since his retirement in 2019, having won the Group 1 Grosser Preis von Berlin at four to go with his successes in the Grosser Hansa-Preis (twice), Gerling Preis, Prix Foy - all Group 2s - and the Group 3 St Leger Italiano.

A winner of seven of his 20 starts and just over £400,000 in prize-money, he was trained by Markus Klug for Horst Pudwill.

Bred by Gestut Park Wiedingen, Dschingis Secret was a €200,000 purchase by Pudwill from the BBAG September Yearling Sale in 2014.

The eight-year-old is the first foal out of three-time winner Divya, a Platini full-sister to dual Group 3 winner Deva, herself the dam of another two-time Group winner in Devastar.

Dschingis Secret is in turn a full-brother to German Derby runner-up Destino, the triple Listed winner and Group 3-placed Deia plus the Group-placed pair of Diana Storm and Dschingis First.

He will join Jimmy Two Times, Beaumec De Houelle, Night Wish and No Risk At All on the Montaigu roster.
