Breeder Karina Casini had extra cause for celebration watching De Rasher Counter scorch clear of his rivals in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury on Saturday, as his dam is carrying a full sibling to the seven-year-old son of Yeats.

The talented chaser was bred out of the Rashar mare Dedrunknmunky, who resides at Casini's Greenlands Farm Stud near Marlborough in Wiltshire.

"It was a very special moment and we'll cherish it," says Casini, who was on hand to see De Rasher Counter win at Newbury.
