Classic aspirants with perfect pedigree credentials make their debut at Cork on Sunday when the Mallow track hosts its first Flat meeting of the season.

In the opening Follow Us On Instagram Fillies' Maiden (2.05), Aidan O'Brien unveils a pair of fillies with Irish Oaks entries and Classic winning relatives.

Galleria Borghese would appear to be the stable first string with Ryan Moore in the saddle and is from the first crop of Commonwealth Cup winner Caravaggio.

Bred by Anne Marie O'Brien, the three-year-old is the first foal of On Ice, an unraced Galileo sister to Group 1 Racing Post Trophy winner Kingsbarns and to Elizabethofaragon, who was twice Listed-placed at three.

As if that wasn't enough to recommend Galleria Borghese on pedigree, On Ice is also a half-sister to Sweeter Still by Rock Of Gibraltar. She won the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes but is better known as the dam of 2,000 Guineas and Vertem Futurity winner Kameko, who stands at Tweenhills Farm and has been impressing breeders with his first foals.

Under the fourth dam House Tie are further Group 1 winners including Dubai World Cup victor African Story and triple Group 1 winner Rip Van Winkle.

Seamie Heffernan is on board Lost for the Ballydoyle team and this daughter of champion sire Frankel has a fittingly impressive pedigree. She is a half-sister to the dual Australian Group 3 winner Francis Of Assisi and to Look At Me, who earned her Listed victory at Cork. Look At Me is the dam of Flame Of Tara Stakes winner Kind Of Magic, by Frankel's sire Galileo. Galileo was also the sire of Mooresbridge Stakes winner and Derby second Cliffs Of Moher out of another of Lost's half-sisters.

Her dam Queen Cleopatra was a Group 3 winner and placed in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and Prix de Diane. The daughter of Kingmambo is a sister to Henrythenavigator, whose four Group 1 triumphs included the 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes.

Second dam Sequoyah won the Moyglare Stud Stakes and is a Sadler's Wells sister to Fillies' Mile winner Listen. Sequoyah is also a half-sister to Lady Windermere, the second dam of Galileo's Irish 2,000 Guineas and Breeders' Cup Turf winner Magician.

In the two-year-old event, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden(3.47), NationalQuestion is an interesting newcomer for Jim Bolger as a homebred Fracas half-brother to Group 1 winning two-year-old Loch Garman. They are out of Irish Question, a winning daughter of Giant's Causeway and Key To Coolcullen, an unraced half-sister to Group 1 winner Eva Luna.

Ken Condon runs Holdonfordearlife, a Make Believe three-parts brother to the Group 3-placed Make Time and a half-brother to Florida Oaks third Secret Stash. Bred by Kildaragh Stud out of Poppet's Lovein, a winning Lomitas half-sister to Hungarian sensation Overdose, she was purchased by Howson and Houldsworth and Genesis Racing for €50,000 at last year's Goffs Orby Sale.
