Cian Warren has two Oscars in his life who appeared in tandem and continue to vie for his affection.
One is up-and-coming novice hurdler Harry Senior, son of the late Grange Stud stallion who is the first product of his venture into bloodstock. The other? Well, he’s a golden retriever.
"The foal arrived one night and I was going to pick up this pup the following day, so he arrived and got called Oscar," explains Warren. "I won’t say there was any great thought into it, but it just suited."
