Catalogue released for Arqana's mixed Autumn Sale
Horses in training, stores and yearlings are all on offer at the three-day sale
The catalogue for Arqana's mixed Autumn Sale has been released, with 143 horses in training, two-year-old stores and yearlings among the entries.
Taking place in Deauville from November 15-17, the horses-in-training section will be offered to buyers on the opening day, while there will be additional wildcard entries in the coming weeks.
Among the graduates from the sale are Sisfahan, winner of this year's German Derby, while jumps stars include dual Grade 1-winning novice hurdler Gaillard Du Mesnil, Celebration Chase victor Greaneteen, Peter Marsh Chase scorer Royal Pagaille and the high-class Easy Game.
The first day of the sale will include Flat and National Hunt performers, such as Prix de Condé third Kergrist (Lot 348), a recent winner at Mont-de-Marsan for Bruno de Montzey, Darzan (372), a dual winning and Listed-placed son of Le Havre on the Flat, and Fabrice Chappet's Angel (375), a three-year-old son of Fastnet Rock who won on his second start at Clairefontaine.
The Flat-bred yearlings will be offered on Saturday, November 13, with lots by established sires Dabirsim, Galiway, Goken, Kendargent, Le Havre, Pedro The Great and Shalaa on offer.
First-crop sires with yearlings include Cloth Of Stars, Dschingis Secret, Expert Eye, Seabhac and Seahenge.
