The catalogue for Arqana's Lumet Show is now out with 63 lots set to go under the hammer on August 20, including a son of Non Rien De Rien from the family of the brilliant hurdler Apple's Jade.

Created in 2013 and jointly organised by David Lumet and Arqana, the sale brings together a number of pre-trained two- and three-year-old jumpers who will be put through their paces before being sold in the afternoon. They will also be shown jumping before the sale.

The Lumet Show has produced a number of winners either side of the Channel, including the high-class Monster Caroli. The son of Maresca Sorrento has won his last four starts at Auteuil, notably the Listed Prix Dawn Run.

This year's catalogue includes progeny by leading sires such as Balko, Buck’s Boum, Coastal Path, Cokoriko, Doctor Dino, Great Pretender, Jeu St Eloi, Kapgarde, Masked Marvel, Muhtathir and No Risk At All, as well as young sires Bathyrhon, Karaktar and Triple Threat.

Among the lots on offer are Ecuries de la Ridaudière's Giorgia Rose (lot 15), a daughter of Kapgarde from the family of dual Grade 1 winner Bel La Vie; the same operation's Koronatique (22), a daughter of Voiladenuo from the family of Royale Pagaille; Klap Forever (26), the Non Rien De Rien relation to the great Apple's Jade; and Karaktere D'Enfer (45), by Karaktar and from the family of Grade 1 winner Mister Banjo.

Lumet said: "The Lumet Show is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, a symbolic milestone that enables us to measure the progress made since its first edition, especially since the partnership with Arqana was established in 2017.

"Last year we reported the horses from the Lumet Show had passed the post in front more than 300 times, a record that has since been added to!

"For this year's event, we have redesigned the day. As the jumpers need a maximum of concentration to show their talents, we have decided to keep them fresh by having them jump before the sale.”
