Leading breeze-up consignors have expressed fears over significant financial losses as a result of sales disruptions during the current Covid-19 crisis, with uncertainty hanging over whether sales dates will take place.

The Tattersalls Ascot Breeze-Up Sale, initially scheduled to begin this Tuesday, and the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up, due to start on April 13, were both postponed earlier this month, with plans to combine the sales to take place between April 29 and May 1.

The Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up and Horses in Training Sale is postponed until May 27.
