Breeding right to Cotai Glory, Time Test and Havana Gold among online offerings
Horses in training, breeding stock and yearlings also part of Tattersalls' sale
Breeding rights to first-crop sires Cotai Glory and Time Test, and proven Group 1 sire Havana Gold, are up for grabs as part of this week's Tattersalls Online Sale.
Cotai Glory, who stands at Tally-Ho Stud, has made a promising start to his stud career with his winners to date including the wide-margin Group 2 Prix Robert Papin victor Atomic Force, who is currently the second highest-rated two year old in Europe.
His first crop also features another four black-type performers, including Group 2 Coventry Stakes runner-up Eldrickjones, Pearl Glory, who was second in the Group 3 Dick Poole Stakes, and Dig Two, runner-up in the Windsor Castle. His yearlings have sold for up to 180,000gns.
Tweenhills' Havana Gold has been a good source of two-year-old winners, including Group 1 winner Havana Grey.
Havana Gold's juvenile winners in 2021 are headed by the stakes-winning pair Chipotle and Fearby, while his yearlings have sold for up to 250,000gns..
A breeding right to the National Stud's Time Test also features among the lots on offer.
Time Test, a Juddmonte-bred son of Dubawi and Passage Of Time, has sired stakes performers including Dick Poole Stakes winner Romantic Time and the unbeaten German Group 3 winner Rocchigiani, as well as the Listed-winning Tardis and Debutante Stakes third Sunset Shiraz.
The dual Group 2 winner and Grade 1 runner-up covered his largest book of mares this term at the National Stud.
Among the horses in training and breeding stock on offer are Highclere Stud's Listed-placed Pivotal mare Kelowna (lot2), the well-related Royal Whisper (4), a daughter of Group 2 scorer Never A Doubt, and the Brickfield Equine-consigned Shamardal gelding Endured (13), an impressive three-length winner on his most recent start for Marco Botti.
The sale will also feature yearlings by leading first-season sires Profitable and Galileo Gold.
