Honor And Pleasure, an Oasis Dream half-brother to the star-crossed Irish Oaks winner Sea Of Class, made a winning British debut at Lingfield on Friday.

The five-year-old entire was a three-length winner of the Betway All-Weather Vase Marathon Handicap for Giuseppe Botti on what was also his first start over two miles.

Bred by Razza del Velino, he was offered through Jamie Railton Sales at Tattersalls Book 1 in 2018 just days after his half-sister's greatest performance, but was bought back at 240,000gns.

Successful in four of his previous 14 career starts, Honor And Pleasure continued a good week for his Hernando dam Holy Moon. Her three-year-old son by Camelot, Waterville, made a pleasing debut when third for Aidan O'Brien in a maiden at the Curragh last Sunday. Waterville holds entries in the Derby, Irish Derby and Dante Stakes.

The Italian Listed winner has developed into an outstanding broodmare for the Botti family's Razza del Velino. As well as her brilliant Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks winning daughter by Sea The Stars, who ran Enable so close in the Arc, Holy Moon is the dam of ten other winners.

They include the Group 1 winners Charity Line and Final Score and the Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Cherry Collect. She is also the dam of Group 3 winner Wordless.

Holy Moon has a two-year-old full brother to Sea Of Class, who was purchased by that filly's owners, the Tsui family's Sunderland Holdings, for 240,000gns from Oak Lodge and Springfield House Stud at last December's Tattersalls Yearling Sale.

Her dam Centinela is a Caerleon half-sister to the Group 1 winner Bright Generation and to the dam of European Champion Two-Year-Old and sire Dabirsim.
