Born To Sea and Seahenge to appear in French stallion showcase

New arrivals Morpheus and Universal to also be paraded on January 12

Le Salon du Lion - France's largest stallion showcase - will take place on January 12, with 23 of the 50 thoroughbred stallions showing for the first time at the parade including Born To Sea, Morpheus, Seahenge and Universal.

, sire of the Classic-placed Sea Of Grace, will be shown by Haras des Faunes having relocated from Gilltown Stud in Ireland.

Haras de Corlay will proudly show off its two new recruits - , the sire of Champagne Stakes third Cardini who relocates from Ashford Stud in Kentucky, and , sire of juvenile winners Desert Friend, Technological and Universal Order who arrives from Yorton Farm in Shrewsbury.

Universal will be joined in the line-up by his former Yorton studmate , a son of King's Theatre who was a smart chaser and hurdler in his native France before arriving in Britain. He will stand at Haras du Lion in western France next spring.

Champagne Stakes scorer , by Scat Daddy, will be paraded by Haras de la Haie Neuve following his return from a three-year-old campaign in the US.
