Enthusiastic owner Mark Dunphy can muse over the loftiest prizes in National Hunt for his exciting chaser Do Your Job, who is one of three full-brothers to have been on the board in recent weeks.

The Michael Scudamore-trained eight-year-old, who still holds an entry at Aintree next week, was a very easy winner of the Grade 2 Jordan Electrics Ltd Future Champion Novices' Chase at Ayr as he added to previous victories over fences at Warwick and Newcastle.

Dunphy and Derek O'Connor signed for Do Your Job for £150,000 at the 2019 Goffs UK Autumn Sale on the back of an Irish point success for Colin Bowe and he went on to finish second in last year's Grade 1 Top Novices' Hurdle at Aintree.

Do Your Job is the oldest of three sons of late Grange Stud resident Fame And Glory bred by Caroline Berry to have been excelling on the track.

The year-younger Highland Charge made his own breakthrough at Graded level three weeks ago at Naas when taking the Kingsfurze Novice Hurdle for Noel Meade and Gigginstown House Stud.

That very same afternoon's meeting at Limerick also saw a win registered for their five-year-old brother Hunters Yarn in a bumper. He had got off the mark for Pat Doyle before moving to the Willie Mullins team in the colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede.

All of the horses are among a string produced by Caroline Berry, also the breeder of the Grade 1 hurdle and chase star Battleoverdoyen.

They are out of the Epervier Bleu mare Full Of Birds, twice a winner over hurdles in France, who is out of the Prix Wild Risk winner Full Contact. It is a distinguished family which includes Gold Cup and King George winner Long Run under the third dam.

Full Of Birds died in 2017 after producing Hunters Yarn, the 11th foal of her brood. They also include another black type performer, her first progeny Down Ace. She won a Listed novices' hurdle at Taunton and was a useful performer over fences.
