Arqana's Autumn Sale to take place outdoors and restricted to professionals
Mixed event set to begin a week on Saturday
Arqana has established a protocol with local authorities in order for this month's Autumn Sale to take place despite the 30-day national lockdown in France.
To keep the number of attendees to the bare minimum, access to the sales complex will be restricted to professionals participating in the sale - consignors and their staff, buyers, vets, shipping agents and Arqana staff.
Inspections will take place upon prior digital registration and the sale will be held entirely outdoors, with horses being paraded in the
outdoor ring in the main yard.
The sale follows a different format from previous years with the first inspections held on November 13.
Flat-bred yearlings going through the ring on November 14, horses in training on November 16, stores on November 17, National Hunt-bred yearlings on November 18 and NH foals, fillies and broodmares on November 19.
