There were no ingenious mating plans behind the breeding of Gay Donald and Pas Seul, the only siblings to have won the Cheltenham Gold Cup. In fact, the story goes that the connections of their dam Pas De Quatre didn't even know she was carrying Pas Seul until very late into her pregnancy.
