Agent to cease role as adviser to Merriebelle

Aims to continue growth of Townley Hall Bloodstock

Agent Mick Flanagan has stepped down from his role as European adviser to Merriebelle Stable.

US financiers John Moores and Charles Noell, who race and breed under the Merriebelle Stable banner, bought all the stock of Kilfrush Stud and the 120–acre Ardbraccan estate in Navan in recent years, with Flanagan overseeing the establishment of the operation in Ireland.

“I'll be forever grateful to Charlie Noell and John Moores as they gave me a run when nobody else would,” said Flanagan.
