Goffs UK has released the catalogue for its August Sale, with 313 lots due to come under the hammer in Doncaster from 10am on Wednesday, August 7.

A mix of stores, horses-in-training and point-to-pointers have been entered for the one-day auction, which also features the second part of the Grech and Parkin Dispersal that produced the record-breaking price of £620,000 for Interconnected at the Spring Sale earlier this year.

The dispersal's August Sale draft includes ten entries, all offered without reserve, and features National Hunt young stock and breeding prospects, including: Pumped Up Kicks (Lot 67), a Listed-winning Flemensfirth mare out of a half-sister to Tiger Cry, and her colt foal by Pether's Moon; a Pether's Moon gelding out of a half-sister to the Grade 1 winners Lac Fontana and All Yours (70); and a Norse Dancer gelding out of the Listed-winning King's Theatre mare Alegralil (74).

The horses-in-training and point-to-point section will offer drafts from racing powerhouses including the Aga Khan Studs, Ballyboy Stables, Charlie Hills, Dan Skelton, Godolphin, Gordon Elliott, Henry De Bromhead, Jamie Osborne, Juddmonte, Kevin Ryan, Monbeg Stables, Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls, Shadwell and Stuart Crawford.

Eye-catching entries include High Change, a four-year-old son of High Chaparral who won a Ffos Las bumper on his only outing (134); Geraldo, a four-year-old son of Jeremy who made a winning point-to-point debut at Stowlin (139); Giovanni Change, winner of his debut bumper at Killarney (144); and Glint In Her Eye, a bumper-winning daughter of Presenting out of a half-sister to Peak Raider and Carlito Brigante.

Tony Williams, Goffs UK managing director, said: "This sale has enjoyed a great year on the track headed by graduate Tiger Roll who became Goffs UK's (formerly DBS) second dual Grand National winner after Red Rum achieved the feat in 1974.

"In the sale ring come 7 August we have plenty to look forward to, particularly with the second part of the Grech and Parkin Dispersal which produced so many highlights at our Doncaster Spring Sale in May.

"We have also been very well supported with drafts from the major owners and trainers and it's wonderful to have a draft from Aga Khan Studs for 2019. We also have a high number of pointers and young bumper horses, and among them are some serious prospects."
