A first-rate stallion who can maintain his popularity and profitability over a long period of time is a rare beast for most studs, so when one is lost there is usually a long wait for the next to come along.

Haras de Montaigu, however, is in the fortunate position of not having to sit and suffer, as the death of its tremendous dual-purpose offering Martaline in November occurred just as No Risk At All had risen to become one of the most sought after jumps sires in Europe.

Furthermore, the historic Normandy operation has a young Grade 1-winning son of Martaline on its roster along with a strong supporting cast of up-and-comers.
