Pierro filly to press Australian Oaks claims and boost syndicate brand
James Harron: branched out into buying fillies last year
In Thursday's issue of ANZ Bloodstock News, the Lindsay Park-trained Pierro filly Dark Confidant, who races under the JHB Syndications banner, is fancied to go close in the Kennedy Oaks.
Also, the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry is in shock after the tragic death of respected Queensland stud proprietor Basil Nolan jnr of Raheen Stud, who was killed in a farming accident on Tuesday.
