Friday's Betfred Super League predictions

Salford became only the second side to beat Warrington this season last weekend and the Red Devils can make it three wins on the spin when they head to Huddersfield on Friday.

Paul Rowley's unheralded side are building quite a reputation for themselves – they have also won away at St Helens – and possess the talent to defeat anyone in Super League on their day.

Huddersfield are only two points adrift of the Red Devils in the standings and had won five games in succession prior to a narrow one-point loss to Saints a week ago. However, they have defeated Hull FC twice, London and Leeds in that run, clubs who all started round ten in the bottom five, so the form of those victories is open to debate.

Warrington are long odds-on to get back to winning ways at home to Hull while Leeds should overcome winless London, although the Headingley clash may closer than expected.

London have conceded 348 points and scored only 74 in losing their opening nine league fixtures but Leeds only just sneaked past Hull last week and they will be without a number of first-team players, especially in their backline, due to injury.

The visiting Broncos have a mountain to climb to get off the mark but the Rhinos may struggle to cover a sizable handicap line.
