Fight preview

Daniel Dubois returns to the ring to take on WBA 'regular' champion Trevor Bryan in Miami. This looks a good opportunity for the Greenwich puncher to get back to the big-time after his 2020 loss to Joe Joyce.

Dubois is now working with trainer Shane McGuigan and the 24-year-old will be looking to add more variety and a tighter defence to his skill set.

However, Dynamite still carries plenty of power and he is likely to make light work of Bryan.

The American holds the hollow WBA belt, with Oleksandr Usyk elevated to super champion, but the New Yorker's record is extremely patchy, with his 22 victories spread over 11 years.

Bryan has got the better of Bermane Stiverne and BJ Flores, but Stiverne was in shocking shape in a farce of a fight and Flores was a blown-up cruiserweight.

The American has contested just two fights since stopping Flores in 2018 and you have to wonder about Bryan's conditioning and commitment.

It's odds-against that Dubois ends this fight in the first three rounds and that looks a knockout bet.
