There is an interesting IBO world super-welterweight title fight at the Coventry Skydome on Saturday night.

Sam Eggington has eyes on a shot at one of the four major titles, and if they handed out belts for toughness, the Savage would be first in line.

However, for all the Birmingham boxer is up for the fight, he is a pretty exposed performer and there are a lot of miles on the 28-year-old's clock.

Eggington guarantees entertainment, but many of his 38 bouts having been hard and gruelling contests and there are seven defeats on the card.

Amongst those losses are reversals against Ted Cheeseman and Bradley Skeete, and while Saturday's opponents Przemyslaw Zysk hasn't mixed it at this level before, there is enough in the price to have a punt on the Pole.

The Ostroleka puncher is untested but he is also undefeated in 18 fights and he brings the confidence and ambition of an unbeaten fighter.

Zysk has a solid jab and throws heavy combinations off that lead and that could cause Eggington problems. The Savage's last fight was a 12-round war against Bilel Jkitou and it's certainly possible that it could have left its mark.

Eggington isn't blessed with fantastic technical ability or speed and he may find himself on the end of plenty of Zysk's shots.

The Pole is a 5-2 chance to cause an upset in Coventry and that looks too big.
