Match preview

Chantelle Cameron has taken every step up in her stride throughout her boxing career and it’s worth siding with her to do so again when she faces her toughest challenge yet, Jessica McCaskill.

While McCaskill is likely to have size advantage as she drops down from welterweight, Cameron is the better out-and-out boxer and should be able to demonstrate that in Abu Dhabi.

The 31-year-old is also seven years younger than her American opponent and could use that edge to maintain her unbeaten record on the judge’s scorecards and take back to England the crown of undisputed super lightweight champion.

In the main event of the Matchroom card Dmitry Bivol will be looking to follow up his victory over Canelo Alvarez when he takes on unbeaten mandatory challenger Gilberto Ramirez.

Bivol is a general 1-4 shot and is likely to oblige by decision.
