There is more than just Trueshan's return to form to put a smile on Alan King's face this autumn.

It is great that the stable star has come back to himself after a wind operation and added another two big staying races to his huge collection, capping another fine season in which the yard could end up close to its best ever tally of Flat winners.

But there is also plenty to look forward to over jumps. King had seven individual bumper winners last season and many others who showed promise in that sphere, which bodes well for his novice hurdle team this term.
