'I had a lot to learn' - meet the driving force behind Moyglare Stud's success

Six letters, three words and one belief have defined Eva Maria Bucher-Haefner's life and guided her stewardship of Moyglare Stud: "On we go."
This year marks two significant milestones in the story of the farm founded by Bucher-Haefner's late father Walter, who had travelled to Ireland to buy a showjumper but instead ended up with a stud farm.
It is 60 years since that fateful meeting in a Dublin airport bar, while this weekend sees the 50th edition of the Moyglare Stud Stakes, one of the sport's longest-running and most recognisable sponsorships.
