Jake Paul v Nate Diaz predictions and betting tips

Jake Paul and Nate Diaz will settle their ill-tempered feud when they meet in the boxing ring early hours of Sunday morning.

The fight is taking place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and is due to be contested over ten rounds.

Paul was beaten by Tommy Fury last time out, and while that is low-level form and a defeat, the Problem Child has at least shown some boxing ability. The Ohio man had Fury on the canvas in what was a tight fight, and it’s no surprise to see the 26-year-old priced at 1-4 to win in Dallas.

Diaz is a former UFC superstar, but time and time again we have seen that form from the MMA Octagon doesn’t translate well to the boxing ring and that was the case when Paul dismissed the challenges of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva.

Diaz makes his boxing debut aged 38 and the Californian is giving away major physical advantages. The majority of the UFC star’s career was spent operating at light and welterweight and this fight requires him to take a major step up to cruiserweight.

Diaz’s aggression may well prove his downfall in this contest and, at 200lbs, it’s hard to see anything other than a Paul stoppage victory.
