This special talent can't be opposed in novice company over any distance and I'll be getting stuck in
On Sunday I'll definitely be investing on the Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland 50th Derby Sale Novice Hurdle (1.40). The wallet will be opened for Ballyburn.
I initially had my reservations about him, but now I'm a firm believer as he looked an absolute monster when recording an easy victory over Cleatus Poolaw in a maiden hurdle at this track over 2m4f, with decent bumper horse Apple's Of Bresil toiling in third.
Both the runner-up that day and the fourth, who were in a different postcode, have franked the form, and to me Ballyburn can't be opposed in novice company over any distance. While it's a top-level contest with decent opposition, he has the makings of a really special talent and I'll be wagering accordingly.
