Tudor primed for Potters National ride after hitting heights on Top Decision

Conditional rider Jack Tudor partnered his 20th winner of the season after the well-supported Top Decision came with a well-timed run to nail long-time leader Knockrobin in the 2m 4½f novice handicap chase.
The Sam Drinkwater-trained seven-year-old was backed into 11-2 from a morning price of 8-1 before making the most of the leader weaving around going to the final fences before stretching ten lengths clear on the run-in.
Tudor, whose biggest success was on Potters Corner in the Welsh Grand National, said: “He jumped left the whole way and I was probably quite lucky at the last as he winged it as the other horse was wandering around a bit. He had a nice low weight and the drying ground has helped.”
